“The Film Connection, in many ways, is a blessing; it truly is the ‘Film School of Hard Knocks.’ It helps new students to gain experience and network, while they learn. It teaches one thing I always preach to young filmmakers: practicality. And I now have a vested interest in seeing them succeed – as I would like to see all my friends succeed. Ideally, that is how it is designed to work.” — Sam Borowski
