This isn’t a boring Eureka film school classroom. This isn’t an overcrowded college laboratory. This is life. Real Life. YOUR LIFE.

Eureka, have we got a film school for you! Seriously, you can still play your favorite video game at the pizza place you grew up around the corner from AND go to film school. Alas, it cannot be, you say? Oh yes siree Bob, it sure can. The Film Connection in Eureka has made it happen. You can join forces with a real-life working film industry mentor who will take you on a hands-on guided tour of how to make it in the film biz. You can’t beat that with a stick.

Get Real World Film Production Experience in Eureka

Eureka, California is a small town on California’s north coast, serving as the county seat for scenic Humboldt County. Its proximity to mountains, ocean views and the majestic redwood forests make it a popular area for location shoots. Entertainment and film industry people who have come from Eureka include singer Sarah Bareilles and actors Lloyd Bridges and Brendan Fraser. While this area does not have the number of film schools that Los Angeles does, Eureka has several film and video production companies, as well as its own film office, and has been the site for numerous major films. For people who are looking for a career in filmmaking as a film director, film producer, film editor, or cameraman, but who do NOT want to relocate to L.A., Eureka can be a great alternative choice.
