We’re the Film Connection Film School in Greenville, North Carolina, and our courses unite aspiring filmmakers with local professionals in a unique mentor dynamic that’s turning the industry on its head! If there’s a specific focus that you’d like to delve into, you can do it with our 6-month Cinematography program. You’ll be honing your personal project with a local mentor who will meet with you in their studio or production house. More adventurous filmmakers may want to consider the complete package, our 8-month Film Production & Editing Program which includes training in directing, producing, editing, and even screenwriting. In the longer program, you’ll even work with a screenplay mentor, a seasoned Hollywood writer, director, producer, or development professional who will help you get your original idea down in screenplay format and ready to pitch. Ordinary film schools or film programs just don’t offer the in-industry, direct mentor-led education we do. Located in the east-central part of North Carolina close to the Atlantic coast, the cities of Greenville, New Bern, and Washington have a combined population of nearly 120,000 people. Although that might not seem like a huge population, this area is known as a hub of commerce, being the birthplace of Pepsi Cola and ranked one of the top ten places for business by Forbes Magazine. This area (especially Greenville) is also a noted hotspot for BMX racing. Several film or television production companies make their home in this area, and the location is conducive to plenty of good backdrops for location shooting.
