Major motion pictures and television shows are shot on location throughout the state, and we have mentors available to train you in San Diego, San Francisco, Bakersfield, Palm Springs, Sacramento, Chico, Eureka, or just about anywhere else you happen to live. 1. THE WAY WE TRAIN YOU. With the Film Connection, you don’t spend a single day in a classroom. Your classes all take place on-the-job and on the set, with private instruction from your mentor. You’ll have a structured curriculum (along with homework), but with our film school, the “real” education happens by working with your mentor on real productions.
