The Nebraska Film Connection provides opportunities that no other film school can. Instead of sticking you in a college or trade school classroom with a bunch of other students, we place you in a real film production company as a working extern, where an actual film professional will instruct and mentor you one-on-one! Imagine learning the ropes of film production, cinematography, screenwriting and film editing by actually working on-the-job and on the set, and imagine having the chance to make valuable industry connections along the way. There’s no way you can get this connected to the film industry in a classroom—it only happens when you get directly involved with the film industry. That’s where we put you—from day one.
Some of our graduates have gone on to become film directors, script writers, and production company owners. Others are creating and producing their own films across genres like documentary, drama, comedy, action, and animation
